Two-hundred and fifty years ago when the halls of the Second Continental Congress filled with the voices of our founding fathers, they most likely did not break out in song. But when the Wooster High School Performing Arts Center filled with the re-enactment of the birth of America’s independence, some of our area’s most talented actors and singers could be heard. Under the direction of Summer Stage Wooster’s founder Todd Patterson, “1776 the Musical” was the organization’s salute to our country’s semi quincentennial and entertainment gift to our community and surrounding area.
